# Split PDF — OxnaPDF

Tool: https://oxfordpdf.com/split-pdf/

Split one PDF into separate files in a current browser. JavaScript and WebAssembly are required. PDF processing runs on the user's device; documents are not uploaded to a conversion server. No login, payment, adverts or watermarks.

## Use the tool

1. Choose one PDF from your device, or drop it on the upload area.
2. Check the real page previews. In Split points, mark a break after any page. The output list shows which pages each file will contain.
3. Choose Split PDF. Review the actual output PDFs, then download individually or together as a ZIP.

## Other split methods

- Pages per file: set a page count for each file. The final file contains the remaining pages.
- Custom ranges: separate output files with semicolons. For example `1-3; 4-6; 7`. Commas combine pages in the same file. Pages within each file retain their original order. Omitted pages and pages used in multiple files are shown explicitly.
- By file size: choose 1 KB to 100 MB (decimal units). Each saved file is measured. The original page order and image resolution are retained. A single page may exceed the target; such files are marked and require explicit consent before inclusion in the ZIP. This does not promise the minimum possible number of files.

## Limits and compatibility

One source PDF, at most 100 MB and 500 pages. Up to 100 output files per run, with at most 100 MB combined output and 2,000 copied pages. The original file is not changed.

Digitally signed PDFs, password-protected files, interactive forms and unsupported document structures are refused rather than silently losing their structures. Supported tagged page subsets are retained through the existing validated page writer. Review the saved outputs before sharing them.

The browser UI is the supported interface. There is no public document-upload API or promised headless automation endpoint. This guide describes actual functionality, not a search-ranking or indexing guarantee.
